Sky replacements are pretty common in real estate and architectural photography, and there are a few ways to do one (including my preferred method mentioned here!). With the latest Photoshop update, though, a new sky replacement tool has been added to make this a whole lot easier. In fact, you could do it with only 2-3 clicks!

The first thing I noticed about the new sky replacement tool from Photoshop is that the masking AI was impressive. The tree line looked really detailed! This alone is a huge time-saver.

The second thing I loved was the types of options they added into the tool to help you customize the look. You can adjust the edges, add adjustment layers, and even adjust the foreground.

Finally, I really loved seeing all of these things get added as new layers. Why? Because then you have layers that you can continue to adjust and fine-tune for even more detail and customization!
